I play songs and tunes. Some of them I write. I have played in three string duos, the first one only lasted a year and then I formed Gravel Granders with Howie and we had a good weekly year-and-a-half run at the Boundary Bay Brewery and played lots of other places too, such as in Whistler Village for tips or at the Old Town Cafe in the mornings for breakfast. After a couple years Gravel Grinders slowed and we put Quickdraw String Band together, me, Allegra, Jessie, Dave, and Goldtooth. We had a six-year run before going on hiatus last year, though Jessie left one year into it for Alaska, and Allegra left two years into it for Olympia and Portland. We brought Kat in for about a year and a bit, which at the time for her was one of four or so bands. After Quickdraw slowed, Allegra came back and she and I put together Barnum Jack. Sometimes I play out solo too , though not too often of frequent, result and upshot being Barnum Jack is studio bound here real soon. For recordings I have put out two solo full-lengths and another full-length of Quickdraw.
